Con Dao Historical & Local Life

This tour explores the rich history of Con Dao and will delve into its darker side. A series of prisons system were constructed through 113 years of colonisation during which many thousands of prisoners were interred here. Riding through the island with our guide, who will take you around the island and through the back road and coastline.

Baby Turtle Releasing & Snorkeling (seasonal)

An early morning trip with our very cute baby sea turtles. Our guide will lead you to the main nesting beach and turtle sanctuary where you will have opportunity to see little specious baby sea turtles and releasing them to the ocean for their incredible journey. Afterwards we’ll take you to a favorite snorkeling site where you can see the many different species of coral and marine life that inhabit the waters of Con Dao.

Turtle Nest Watching Experience

Con Dao island is the only place in Vietnam where sea turtles not only come to nest but also the place where they enjoy fully National Park protection. Green sea turtle & Hawksbill turtle come to nest around one of 14 beaches from late May to late October every year. Islands Hopping & Snorkelling

For your trully unique experience, you can customise your boat trip around Con Dao on may other islands. A speedboat will take you on islands hopping to discover the underwater life surrounding Vietnam’s premier Marine Protected Area, stop for islands exploring, snorkelling, beach relaxing or picnicking. There are so many hidden jems and it is hard to choose from.

Trekking and Hiking Experience

Immerse yourself in Con Dao’s nature through the dense forest and try to spot some of the tree endemic animal species on the island (Black Squirel, Giant Balck Squirel, Longtail Monkey). Hikking up and trekking up to the high point. On the top, reward yourself with stunning view and photos, let your eyes wandering to the East sea for the panoramic view over the Con Son Bay.

About Con Dao

Con Dao island is located about 185 km (115 miles) South of Vung Tau city and 230 km (143 miles) from Ho Chi Minh City, Con Dao island also known as Con Dao National Park, is an archipelago of 16 mostly uninhabited mountain islets just off the southern coast of Vietnam.

The island is a paradise in the south of Vietnam and is recognised by the immense natural beauty with forested hills, untouched sandy beaches and extensive coral reefs, perfect for diving and snorkelling. Con Son, the main island boasts mile of the coastal roads and hiking trails offering a wide range of outdoor activities from trekking, hiking, discovering the nature, watching the turtles to playing the water sports.

Easily access the island via a 45-minutes flight from Ho Chi Minh City or Mekong Delta (Can Tho city); or 2,5-hrs speedboat from Soc Trang province; or 4-hrs ferry from Vung Tau city.

Con Dao island has windy season from November to February next year; from March to May is the dry season with calm ocean and sunshine; June to October is rainy season.
